Our
prime objective is to teach you to be a safe and conscientious pilot
and to achieve this you will be required to fly a minimum of 40 hours
to obtain your PPL(H), with a reduction to 35 hours for PPL(A) holders.
A minimum of ten hours of your training time will be as a pilot in
command or ‘solo’. During the course of your training with us you
will need to pass written examinations in aviation law, metrology,
navigation and technical & human performance. At the end of your training
with us you will then take a C.A.A flight test and oral exam with
or examiner. In addition you will need to obtain a class three medical;
certificate. As you would expect learning to fly a helicopter demands
a certain commitment from you and a positive approach is needed so
that we may help you to become the proud owner of a helicopter pilots
license.
Training
can be structured to suit the individuals time and funds available.
Some prefer our full time three week course with accommodation included,
and others prefer single lessons to fit around work commitments. All
lessons include pre and post flight briefings with the day consisting
off approximately four one hour flights.
Unlike many
of our competitors we ensure that you remain with the same instructor
throughout your training establishing a close working relationship.
In fact many of our students have become good friends and with a 100%
pass rate to date we are proud of our students and the high standards
that they achieve.
